With an estimated 1.5 million unlicensed vehicles on the road the DVLA oversees the disposal of thousands of vehicles per month.
However, following the successful end to a pilot project Newport Auctions now hold fortnightly sales of vehicles that might otherwise have been crushed.
With a special adapted 5000sq foot premises' at it's Usk Way site, Newport Auctions collect vehicles from all over the UK on a daily basis & put them through a rigorous preparation process from valeting to key cutting & mobilising to prepare them for sale.
The requirement of a driver's license & photo I.D. at the time of registration prior to purchase insures the vehicles are sold to a suitable end user.
